Cloquet Hockey – “We not I”
Cloquet Youth Hockey is a proud, community-driven program based in Cloquet, Minnesota, offering hockey for boys and girls starting as young as age 4 through the 10U (Squirt) level, where they then transition into CEC Hockey—a unified and competitive program representing Cloquet, Esko, and Carlton. With deep roots in the Northland's hockey tradition, Cloquet Hockey focuses on developing fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, and respect in a fun, inclusive environment. For most boys, the journey begins in Cloquet and continues at the Squirt level as part of CEC Hockey. However, girls have the unique option to join the CEC Girls Program as early as age 4 if families prefer an all-girls hockey experience, or they can continue playing in their local associations until they’re ready to make the transition. CEC Hockey brings together three strong communities to form one powerful team, relying on each partner association for success. Whether just learning to skate or dreaming of high school hockey, our players grow through the shared values of commitment, teamwork, and community. At Cloquet and CEC Hockey, “We not I” isn’t just a motto—it’s who we are.
